环黑海研究中心首届学术研讨会会议邀请函

您好！
黑海是位于欧洲东南部和亚洲小亚细亚半岛之间的陆间海。因其独特的地理位置，环黑海地区在拓展文明交往、连接贸易通道及融汇多元文化方面发挥了重要作用，是全球史视野下文明互动与交流的典型地带，也是“一带一路”沿线地缘政治和经济合作的必经地带。研究环黑海区域的文明交往、帝国遗产及大国战略竞争等问题，具有重要的学术价值和现实意义。
为落实“一带一路”倡议，推进国际学术交流，提高陕西师范大学环黑海研究中心、土耳其研究中心、南高加索研究中心的建设水平，推进学校的世界史学科建设和国际化水平，陕西师范大学“一带一路”文化研究院主办，陕西师范大学环黑海研究中心、南高加索研究中心承办，陕西师范大学历史文化学院、陕西师范大学土耳其研究中心协办的“环黑海区域：历史与当下”国际学术研讨会拟定于2021年12月11-12日在陕西师范大学召开。
鉴于您在区域国别研究方面具有较高的学术造诣，特邀请您与会。
一、会议规模及举办形式
根据疫情防控要求，本次会议规模控制在50人左右，采取线上线下结合的形式。

1.古代黑海世界的文明交往
2.帝国遗产、大国博弈与黑海问题的国际化
3.南高加索三国历史变迁研究
4.环黑海国家历史与发展道路选择
5.“一带一路”倡议与中国同环黑海国家的互利共赢
6.国别区域研究的理论方法与人才培养的途径

本次会议接受中/英文来稿，如蒙应允，请于2021年10月18日前回赐本函所附回执至会务邮箱（bsrrcsnnu@163.com），会务组后续将发送第二号会议通知。本次会议不收取会务费、餐饮费，与会人员的往返交通费和住宿费自理。

1st International Conference on
The Black Sea Region Studies: Past, Present and Future
Dear Mr./Mrs.______,
The Black Sea is a landlocked sea situated between southeastern Europe and Asia Minor. Due to its unique geographical location, the region around the Black Sea has always played a vital role in connecting the trade routes, integrating diverse cultures and interacting the world’s civilization in the perspective of global history. Now it has emerged as a crucial region for the geopolitical and economic cooperation along the Belt and Road initiative. Therefore, seen, both from a Chinese, but also a global perspective, it is of great academic value and practical significance to study a region that important for civilization interactions, imperial heritage and strategic competition of the great powers.
For the purpose of implementing the Belt and Road Initiative, promoting the international academic exchanges and enhancing the discipline construction, the Black Sea Region Research Centre, Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an, China, is pleased to invite scholars to apply for the 1st Black Sea Region Studies Conference. The event is organized by the Belt and Road Cultural Institution of Shaanxi Normal University, hosted by the Black Sea Region Research Centre and the South Caucasus Research Center of Shaanxi Normal University and co-organized by the School of History and Civilization and the Center for Turkish Studies of Shaanxi Normal University.
I.Scale and Format of the Conference：
In compliance with the national protocols of Covid-19 pandemic prevention, the size of the meeting will be limited to around 50 participants, and it will be held in hybrid form, that is both online and in-person.
II. Time and Topic Areas：
The conference is scheduled to be held at Shaanxi Normal University on December 11-12, 2021.The theme is “The Black Sea Region: Past, Present and Future”. It is an attempt for scholars from both the East and the West to exchange ideas and open a dialogue between the two edges of the world regarding the Black Sea and its surrounding area. All interested scholars are warmly encouraged to propose papers, but not limited to, in one of the following topic areas:
1. The civilization exchanges in the ancient Black Sea region
2. Imperial legacy, great power game and internationalization of the Black Sea issues
3. Study on the historical changes of the three countries in the South Caucasus
4. History and selections of the development path of Black Sea region countries
5. The Belt and Road Initiative and win-win results between China and countries around the Black Sea
6. Theories and methods of national and regional studies and the talent cultivation in the field

IV. Paper Requirements:
Chinese or English submissions are both welcomed for this conference. If agreed, please return the enclosed receipt to the conference email address (bsrrcsnnu@163.com) before October 18, 2021. The Conference committee will announce its decision regarding the accepted papers in a follow-up email. There is no registration fee for the conference, but the participants should pay themselves their travel and accommodation during the conference.
