土耳其和周边世界：历史与当下

第二届陕西师范大学土耳其研究学术研讨会会议邀请函

尊敬的先生/女士：

有着五百多年历史的奥斯曼帝国曾在世界历史上留下了鲜明的印迹，而现代土耳其以其独特的发展道路为世界所关注。无论是历史上的奥斯曼帝国，还是现代土耳其共和国，其与周边世界的关系历来是学界关注的热点。为深入推进土耳其历史和政治的研究，陕西师范大学历史文化学院、土耳其研究中心发起召开第二届土耳其年会“土耳其和周边世界：历史与当下”。此次研讨会拟从历史长时段出发，探讨土耳其在中东及周边世界的地位、所扮演的角色及其影响，进而以土耳其为观察点分析15世纪以来世界格局的变革。敬请对此议题感兴趣的学者提交相关论文。

一、会议时间：2018年10月12-15日

二、会议地点：陕西省西安市陕西师范大学

四、会议费用：会议不收取会务费，住宿与膳食由主办方承担，往返交通费用请自理。

五、论文

本次学术研讨会工作语言为英语，有意者请提交如下材料：标题，300字左右的中英文摘要，7000字的论文1篇，请于2018年7月25日前提交会务组。

The Second Turkish Academic Conference:

Turkey and the surrounding World, history and Present Perspectives

Call for Papers

To be held by the Centre for Turkish Studies

Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an

12-15 October 2018

The Ottoman Empire, which has a history of more than 500 years, has left a distinct imprint in world history; At the same time, the modern Turkey is concerned about its unique development path. Whether it is the Ottoman empire in history or the modern republic of Turkey, its relationship with the surrounding world has always been a hot topic in academic circles. For further promote Turkey's history and politics research, the College of History and Civilization of Shaanxi Normal University, in conjunction with the Centre for Turkish Studies sponsored the second annual meeting of Turkey, "Turkey and the surrounding World: history and the present".

The conference aims to discuss Turkey's status, role and influence in the Middle East and the surrounding world from a long historical point of view, and then take Turkey as the observation point to analyze the changes in the world structure since the 15th century. All scholars interested in the concerns of this conference are warmly encouraged to propose papers.

4. Turkey in the change of the world since the 15th century

5. China-Turkey relations in the context of the Belt and Road

Fee: Transportation costs are self-financed by the participants, but accommodation and meals will be covered by the host. There is a small fund to help some international travel.

Paper Requirements: Title, abstract of about 300 words together with a brief introduction less than 300 words of the author, and the 1 paper of the 7000 words. Papers must be submitted before 25th July, 2018 to the email box: tscsnu@snnu.edu.cn
